Today, I completed my 100 hours of my internship. I completed the pretty fast because I worked 3 days a week and 20 hours every week. It has been a great experience and I have learned so much.
Today we had a meeting about some glamour shots that we will need to take for the October’s magazine. We discussed the different products that we had to shoot and what was expected of the pictures. The brand manager of that product line, the art director, creative director, Nick, and I attended to the meeting. It was interesting to brainstorm different concepts and ways to portray the message. Also, we had to consider that some of the glamour shots will be used in different seasons so the colors would have to be appropriate for that.
The rest of the day I spent retouching some images from Travis’s two weeks trip to Kauai for the President’s club. It was a long day of retouching. This images will go on the magazine next month so I had to retouch a bunch to let the designers choose which ones will work for their layout. I used mainly Lightroom for the small adjustments and then I used Photoshop for bigger changes. Sometimes I had to do head swaps for group shots to make sure that everyone looked good on the group shot.
